VEMIS embodies several TCP/IP-based technologies, including traditional cabled ethernet systems, commercial RF equipment including satellite and spread spectrum. However, at the heart of VEMIS is a new 56 kbps packet amateur radio system designed by dB M icrowave Inc. The following pages describe the technical features of the packet radio project.
